Preparing for the Examination

Study materials for the LARE are available from CLARB or by calling (571) 432-0332. A detailed CLARB preparatory guide is available.

Preparatory courses may also be provided through the CCASLA, California chapters of the ASLA.

Per Civil Code section 1798.61(b), individuals and organizations that provide educational information regarding examinations are provided with a list of the LATC’s candidates’ names and addresses upon request (unless a candidate indicates on the examination application that he or she wishes to not have this information shared).
